This contest will allow you the opportunity to remix Madison Parks new
single "Another Yesterday" The best remix wins some great prizes and the
opportunity to be included on an upcoming maxi-single from basicLUX
Records.
The Band:
With the recent attention from their track
placement on the wildly successful, “SEX AND THE CITY” Soundtrack,
downtempo duo Madison Park releases their brand new album, Another
Yesterday. This is the duo’s 3rd proper full length release and is sure to
be a favorite with fans as well as finding them converts.
Musically, Madison Park blurs the line between intelligent pop and dance
music by creating solid songs that you can groove too or beautiful,
chilled tracks that take you away. Melodically infectious and lyrically
intriguing, the duo exhibits strong songcraft in a genre not always known
for it.
“Another Yesterday” continues their tradition of collaborating with an
array of international artists including GXR (from the UK), ielo (from
Paris), Paul T (from Singapore), Monodeluxe (from Switzerland), as well as
U.S. producers Peter Haze and Lenny B.
Their first 2 albums yielded multiple Billboard Dance hits including
"Ocean Drive", "My Personal Moon", "I'm Listening" and their remake of the
Roxy Music classic, "More Than This".
The first single from this new album titled, “Come Out And Play” features

Make sure we can download your remix.
• Post a download link in the Synthvox forum OR use the Soundcloud drop
box at the bottom of this page.
• Make sure to include your Synthvox user name in the file name of your
remix so we can locate you.
• One entry per person.
Anyone
affiliated with the sponsors, companies, and their relatives involved
may not enter. The competition starts January 16th, 2009 and is open to
the entire globe. All entries must be fully uploaded by midnight CST on
March 16th, 2009. Entrants must be at least 13 years of age.
Registration is required to participate and to download content.
Entrants must provide accurate contact information. A valid remix must
contain some or all of the a capella vocals from "Another Yesterday". A valid remix
must be no longer than 6 minutes in length. Entrants may use the
downloadable loops and samples provided by Madison Park and Peaceloveproductions for this
contest only. Entrants may also create
their own original music. The use of unauthorized audio and/or music is
prohibited by law. Winners will be chosen by Madison Park. The loops, vocals,
and music from "Another Yesterday" can be used for this contest only. Any use of
this material outside of this contest is in violation of copyrights
owned by Madison Park.
