Peace Love Productions, Broadjam, Audio Depot, and Gemini have teamed up to bring you the latest remix contest.

This contest will allow you the opportunity to show off your skills composing and remixing for vocals.  This is how it's done downtown folks. We will supply a packet of vocals loops and vocal samples. You will produce a chart topping hit using 3 of the loops or samples from the supplied pack.

About the artists:

The vocals in the Synthvox Remix pack were performed and produced by Jason Donnelly and Carla Starla.

Jason Donnelly (aka Dj Puzzle) is known internationally for his production work on many of the Loops For ACID CDs for Sonic Foundry's ACID software (now Sony's Screenblast ACID). Dj Puzzle's Scratch Tactics, ACID DJ 3.0, Designer Dance Tools, and Trance Solid NRG are just a few of the ACIDized Loops For ACID titles which have been produced by the team of Dj Puzzle and Bernard Turek, otherwise known as Peace Love Productions. 

Carla Starla - If you live in Chicago and are into any type of electronic music, you have heard Carla Starla or at least have heard of her. Her music career started way back in Nebraska, growing up with different crowds from punk to house, to hip hop and drum and bass. Carla moved to Chicago twelve years ago and started projects
like The Stereotypes with Damon Keller, working with Chicago's own DJ Mary Jane, Lunchbox Law of Stony Island, Julio Davis of J. Davis Trio, and Dj Puzzle just to name a few. Since then Carla took things in her own hands and has been spinning deep house and adding her own original live soulful vocals over her records.
You can also find her doing spiritual healings, or leading meditation sessions throughout the city, all things positive. Keep your ears open and eyes peeled and hearts open.

How To Enter:
• Acquire the download pack of vocals from Peace Love Productions.
• Start remixing! We will provide a website to upload your entry when it's completed.
• Register your information. (a valid email address is required)

CONTEST IS CLOSED

The Rules:
• The contest begins June 1st, 2006 and ends Aug 31st, 2006.
• A valid remix must contain 3 vocal samples from the PLP Synthvox pack - BE CREATIVE!
• Your song can be anywhere between 3 minutes to 6 minutes in length.
• All entries must be fully uploaded by midnight CST on July 31st, 2006.
• This contest is open to citizens of all countries.
• Entrants must be at least 13 years of age.
• Entrants must provide a web friendly format of their entry(.mp3, .wma, .ram, etc.).
• Entrants must provide accurate contact information for the purpose of contacting winners.

Anyone affiliated with the sponsors, companies, and their relatives involved may not enter. The competition starts June 1st, 2006 and is open to the entire globe. All entries must be fully uploaded by midnight CST on Aug 31st, 2006. Entrants must be at least 13 years of age. Registration is required to participate and to download content. Entrants must provide accurate contact information. A valid remix must contain 3 of the provided vocal samples.  Entrants may use the downloadable loops and samples provided by  Peaceloveproductions. Entrants may also create their own original music. The use of unauthorized audio and/or music is prohibited by law.
